I 100% support Medicare for All at the federal level (which of course would cover Washington residents); I'm less certain this is doable at the state level because no state has yet done it (including California and Maine, which got some ways down this road before reversing course). Having said all that, I voted for Sen. Randall's Pathway to Universal Healthcare bill out of the House Appropriations Committee precisely because I want to see if there *is* a way this could work in Washington, and I look forward to seeing the recommendations from that workgroup. |

I see a critical need for increased medical entry level public health staff at each county, more for rural and underserved areas, such as NP, immunization support, screening services. Particularly so that our ERs are not continuing to face financial hardship from overuse by transients and persons under arrest when lesser levels of treatment are appropriate. I am particularly troubled by the responses from your organization's caller to the only two questions I asked: 1) "Where are your office locations?" Answer: "There are none." 2) "Is your organization advocating free health care for all persons, from all nations, which come to Washington State for their treatments so Washington citizens will be paying for all their health care?" Answer: "I cannot give you an answer to that." |

As long as we allow privet option for those who wants to pay for their own privet insurance or through employers. I support equality oriented accessible affordable public healthcare for everyone regardless of income, and immigration status.
